Chemical Manufacturing Industry in India

In this modern world, science particularly Chemistry does play an important role which none can ignore. One way or the other, each and everyone uses various products directly or indirectly developed by chemical industries. Thus we could just say that we owe a lot to chemical firms or industry for our happier life. We just have a look at those various chemical products and Chemical Manufacturing Industry in India.

Chemical Industry, what is it?
As industry is a common term used for describing all the firms as a single unit; the term chemical industry stands for the union of all those firms producing various chemical products. Across the globe, over 70,000 productsare produced from raw materials such as air, water, oil, metals, mineralsandnatural gas.

Laboratory Chemicals
Laboratory Chemicals include various acids, Oxidizers, Oxidizing acids, Cyanides which are used in laboratories. Though they are mainly used for laboratory purposes, there are various uses for them. Most importantly they are used in healthcare agencies for producing medicines. We hardly ever know that majority of the medicines we take in are produced in laboratories using hazardous chemical elements.

Stains and Indicators
Stains, dyes or indicators remain crucial in microscopic analysis work. Without these it is never possible to have such an analysis. They are also required for various other science fields such as biochemistry, molecular biology and microbiological where any research can be completed only with the help of dyes and stains as these are essential for staining or dying cell components. Without giving colour to cell components, it is impossible to visualize DNA/RNA pattern. Dyes & Stains, in microbiology, help make micro-organisms visible. They also are used to differentiate micro-organisms.

Bio-chemicals
Bio-chemicals are those which are formed either naturally or artificially created for serving various purposes including creation of pesticides and other chemical elements. They include pheromones, hormones, enzymes among numeral others.

Apart from these, chemical manufacture in India produce a wide variety of chemical products. They include Ion Pair Reagents, various forms of acids, standard solutions, speciality chemicals, among others. All these, one way or the other, help developing medicines, herbals and other utility products. In fact, we cannot imagine what our life could be if there was no chemical development!
